Supportive, Skills-Focused Psychotherapy for Adults
Practical therapy that meets you where you are—focused on relief, tools, and steady progress. Telehealth in Colorado and New Mexico; in-person in Houston & Katy.
Who I help
Adults seeking help with anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD/trauma-related symptoms, OCD, psychotic disorders, life adjustments and relational issue concerns.
What sessions are like
Start with your goals—symptom relief, calmer days, better sleep, improved relationships.
Learn and practice concrete skills between sessions (brief exercises, journaling, behavioral experiments).
Track progress together and adjust as life changes.
Therapy + medication (optional)
Some patients prefer therapy alone; others combine it with medication management. We’ll help you decide what fits best and can coordinate care within the same practice.
Where I see patients
Telehealth: Statewide in Colorado and New Mexico
In-person:Houston and Katy (limited schedule)
Therapy approaches I use
I tailor care to you, drawing from:
Client-Centered Therapy – collaborative, non-judgmental space to be heard
Motivational Interviewing (MI) – strengthening your own motivation for change
CBT & Behavioral Activation (BA) – practical tools to shift unhelpful thoughts and rebuild routines
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – handling difficult thoughts/feelings while moving toward your values
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – identifying what works and doing more of it
Narrative Therapy – reframing stuck stories and experiences
Mindfulness-Based (MBCT-informed) skills – present-moment tools for rumination and stress
You don’t need to pick a modality in advance—we’ll recommend a plan and adjust together.
Getting started
